Taking place at Bristol Barbarians Rugby Club (Norton Lane, BS14 0BT), the festival will showcase the richness and diversity of Irish musical traditions while creating a welcoming space for audiences of all ages to come together and enjoy live performance, cultural experiences and family-friendly entertainment.

Organisers say the festival aims to celebrate the enduring contribution of Irish culture to Bristol's social and cultural life, bringing together musicians, performers, families and visitors for a day of music, connection and celebration.

The event will feature a programme of live performances spanning traditional and contemporary Irish music, alongside opportunities for audiences to experience the warmth, storytelling and sense of community that have long been at the heart of Irish cultural gatherings.

"Bringing people together through music is at the core of what this festival is about. Bristol has a strong and vibrant Irish community, and we are excited to create an event that celebrates heritage, creativity and friendship while welcoming everyone to be part of the experience" says organiser Brendan Murphy.

The festival is expected to attract music lovers from across Bristol and beyond, offering an opportunity to experience authentic Irish culture in a lively and inclusive setting.

Singers and bands include Aisling O’Shea – folk singer and songwriter, Shannon Kitchen who featured on The Voice and has been delighting audiences across the South West for the last few years, Sunny Banks – one of Bristol’s finest traditional Irish folk bands, Bath Pipers, The Publicans – Irish folk and indie and have all the crowd pleasers in their back pockets plus The Phogues who will be headlining – the Uk’s premier Pogues tribute band.

In addition, O’Malley School of Irish Dance will be performing at 3.10pm and 4.40pm and the World Cup Quarter Final between England and Norway will be shown inside and outside the clubhouse at 10pm.
