Bristol Clay exhibition at Centrespace Gallery from 6-17 December 2025

Posted on: 25 Nov 2025

Bristol Clay will return this December with its third group exhibition, being held at Centrespace Gallery from 6-17 December 2025, bringing together twelve local ceramic artists and makers whose work showcases the beauty, versatility and artistry of contemporary ceramics.

The exhibition is a celebration of diverse creative visions from artists of all ages and at all stages of their development within the ceramic arts. From vessels thrown on the potter’s wheel, to hand-built sculpture, from earthenware to stoneware; every piece of work is unique and demonstrates the infinite possibilities and approaches to working with clay. Each artist brings their own voice, background and process to reveal an eclectic and expressive mix of work that references ceramic traditions and looks forward to a ceramic future.

Bristol studios represented include Mudworks, Windmill Clay, Unit 42 Meriton Foundry, and Fishponds Pottery, highlighting the rich and varied ceramic communities across the city.

A curated shop will accompany the main exhibition, offering a selection of affordable ceramics for those looking for meaningful, handmade festive gifts.

Handmade cups, each created by the artists and showcasing their individual craftsmanship, will be available for purchase with refreshments during the preview.

The exhibition runs from the 6th to the 17th December 2025 at Centrespace Gallery in the heart of the old city of Bristol, which can be found down the narrow graffitied walls of Leonard Lane.
