Speaking on the tour, the band shares:

“You may have seen Call Me Amour over the years tour with bands like You Me At Six, Set It Off and Against The Current but the band will be take our first steps in to unknown territory this year, as we announce our first UK headline tour. About Call Me Amour

Call Me Amour is a dynamic UK-based alternative rock band known for their fusion of dark electronica, heavy guitar riffs, and emotive songwriting. Formed by vocalist Harry Radford (formerly of Yashin) and guitarist Geoff Murphy, the band also includes drummer Danny Hall and bassist Arran Lomax. Their music blends elements of rock, electronic, and pop, creating a unique sound that resonates with a diverse audience.

Origins and Evolution

The inception of Call Me Amour was somewhat serendipitous. After Yashin disbanded, Radford returned to the Isle of Man, where he and Murphy began collaborating on acoustic projects. Their creative synergy led them to incorporate EDM elements, eventually evolving into a full-fledged band. Despite the challenges of emerging from the Isle of Man's limited music scene, their determination and unique sound have propelled them onto the UK and European stages.

Musical Style and Influences

Call Me Amour's music is characterized by a blend of alternative metal and dark electronic elements. Their sound is influenced by a diverse range of artists, including Bring Me The Horizon, Bad Omens, Nirvana, and even pop acts like Justin Bieber. This eclectic mix results in a sound that is both heavy and melodic, appealing to fans across various genres.

Debut EP: Call Me Amour

Released on February 7, 2025, their self-titled debut EP showcases the band's versatility and collaborative spirit. The five-track record includes:

"Happy Hell": An energetic opener with a bone-crunching bassline and dynamic vocals.

"Bloom": Features Scott Kennedy of Bleed From Within, blending ominous synths with heavy guitars.

"Good Day": An upbeat track featuring Mikey Chapman of Mallory Knox, highlighting the band's pop-rock sensibilities.

"Where’s The Chemistry": A song about the complexities of achieving one's dreams, accompanied by a POV-style music video.

"Dreams": A haunting finale that merges '80s-inspired goth-pop with modern rock elements.

The EP was produced by George Perks, known for his work with Enter Shikari and You Me At Six, and was recorded at Vada Studios in Alcester.

Live Performances and Recognition

Call Me Amour has built a reputation for their electrifying live performances, characterized by Radford's engaging stage presence and the band's cohesive energy. They have supported acts like Pop Evil, Against The Current, You Me At Six, and Set It Off. Their first headline show at Camden Underworld in London was a sold-out success.

In February 2025, Amazon Music recognized them as the "Breakthrough Artist," featuring the band on a prominent billboard in Leicester Square, London.

Looking Ahead

With a growing fanbase and critical acclaim, Call Me Amour is poised for a promising future. Their innovative blend of genres and emotive storytelling continue to captivate audiences, making them a standout act in the modern rock scene.
