Will Young stars in this years pantomime at The Bristol Hippodrome - Jack and The Beanstalk

Bristol Hippodrome and Crossroads Pantomimes, the world’s biggest pantomime producer, have announced that pop icon and stage star Will Young will make his pantomime debut this Christmas, starring as The Spirit of the Beans in Jack and the Beanstalk.
Will Young has spent the last two decades at the forefront of British pop after bursting onto the scene in 2002 as the original winner of Pop Idol. His multi-award-winning music career includes four Number 1 albums, two BRIT Awards, and an impressive catalogue of hit singles including Leave Right Now, Evergreen and Jealousy. Alongside his music, Will has carved out a successful acting career across stage and screen, as well as presenting for both BBC Radio 2 and Magic.

"Some huge news today, I’m so excited to announce that I will be starring in my first ever panto this Christmas! Someone said to me that pantomime is often the first experience we have of live performance and the arts and they are so right. The first panto I saw was Cilla Black in Dick Whittington, and having gone regularly to the Bristol panto I’m so thrilled to be joining the production this year! Christmas is the most magical time and I'm proud to be a part of that wonderful tradition of pantomime, especially in Bristol which puts on the BEST show. See you in December with leggings, sparkles aplenty, Christmas cheer and laughs. We will make the whole thing EVERGREEN!!"
Jack and the Beanstalk is produced by the world’s biggest pantomime producer and the team behind the 2024 production of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Crossroads Pantomimes, whose Chief Executive Michael Harrison, said:
