Celebrated as one of Bristol's leading music events and a staple on the UK festival calendar, Bristol Sounds is renowned for delivering an eclectic mix of acts, drawing music lovers from across the country. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Bristol Amphitheatre, the open-air gigs offer a stellar summer festival experience.
Indie rock legends Supergrass will bring their genre-defining sound to the Bristol’s Amphitheatre on Wednesday 25 June as part of their 30th anniversary reunion tour where they will be playing their debut album I Should Coco in full - proving they're still at the top of their game. Bursting onto the scene in the mid-90s and channelling the iconic energy of the 90s, Supergrass shot to fame with anthems like Alright and Caught by the Fuzz. Three decades on, their live shows are as cool as ever and fans can expect an unforgettable set from a band who helped define an era.
Oh my God I can’t believe it… Kaiser Chiefs will also bring a night of indie magic to the festival with their smash hit bangers like I Predict A Riot and Ruby. The Leeds-based band, who have been a festival favourite for over a decade, is led by Ricky Wilson and their Bristol Sounds performance will be an absolute crowd-pleaser, filled with the hits that have made them one of the UK’s most loved bands. Taking over the stage on Thursday 26 June, this will be the first time the band has played the Bristol’s Amphitheatre in 10 years - having last performed at the landmark in 2015.
Pop sensation Olly Murs will take to the stage on Sunday 29 June with his pop-bangers. Having risen to fame on The X Factor, Olly Murs has since become one of the UK’s most successful male solo artists, with multiple platinum albums and unforgettable singles like Dance With Me Tonight and Troublemaker. Born to perform and be on stage, Olly Murs’ set promises a lively evening of feel-good anthems and vibes that will have crowds skip, skip, skipping to the beat.
More artists are soon to be announced, promising a diverse lineup that everyone can get stuck into. A music event like no other, Bristol Sounds organisers always curate a music series with the fans at the forefront.
Conal Dodds, Promoter at Crosstown Concerts, said: “We can’t wait to bring Bristol Sounds back to the harbourside for another incredible year. It’s always been about the fans and creating unforgettable nights in one of the city’s best locations. When curating our line-up, we want to make sure there’s something for everyone - and regardless of what music you’re into, you’re guaranteed to have a good time. There’s always such great energy at the Amphitheatre from the artists and the crowds and Bristol Sound is more than just gigs; it’s a celebration of live music, right here in the heart of the city.”
