Art Comes Alive: A Musical Journey through Visual Interpretation at Dareshack, Bristol on Saturday 12 October 2024.

Art Comes Alive invites you to immerse yourself in a one-of-a-kind 30-minute musical journey, where original music and art unite in a live experience like no other. On October 12th, 2024, at Dareshack, artists will create live visual interpretations of a secret musical theme, only revealed at the start of each show to the audience. Three unique performances will take place throughout the day, each featuring a different set of five artists interpreting the same piece of music without knowing the secret narrative.

Attendees can explore live art creation alongside bespoke music by notable artists such as Alexander Leeming Froudakis, whose arrangement “De?ja? Vu” was featured in the TV series Queen Charlotte - A Bridgerton Story. With light projections filling the room, attendees are invited to walk through the space and fully engage with both sound and visuals.

“Supporting local talent is what makes this event truly special. By fostering a space where musicians and visual artists can collaborate spontaneously, we celebrate the creative community in Bristol and beyond", says Manuela, the event organiser.

Each show will last 45 minutes with a 15-minute break in between. For those attending all three shows, the full experience will span approximately three hours.

Student Discount: £6 per show, £11 for all three
Children's Discount: £4 per show, £7 for all three
General Admission: £7 per show online (£8 on the day), £13 for all three shows
