Posted on: 01 Oct 2024A complete night of entertainment for all the family, Bristol's biggest charity fireworks event will feature multiple shows, bonfires, fairgrounds, food, bars and entertainment.
Downend Round Table Fireworks will take place at King George V Playing Field on Friday 8 November 2024.
Over the years, the charity event has evolved into a complete night of family entertainment for the whole community. Headlined by a jaw-dropping fireworks display, it is the product of the tireless efforts of the chaps at Downend Round Table along with the support of local volunteer groups.

The main launch will hit the skies at 8 PM with SkyBurst creating a truly magical spectacle linked to music from the movies. This year, there will also be an added light show and G-Flames to make sure everything goes with a bang!
Before that, there will also be a special Party Peeps Party and a children's show at 6.30 PM; a quieter affair with more visual effects, this show is themed to an age-appropriate soundtrack. As always, there will also be the traditional bonfire, hand-built from recycled pallets - lighting at 7.15 PM.
Away from the main spectacles, there will be a wide range of food to meet every desire with a dedicated bar to keep you warm during the evening. If that's not enough, little ones can enjoy a fairground with rides and stalls to help round off the night.
Then, for the young and the young at heart, Party Peeps will be running their legendary After Party with awesome tunes and a whole load of FOAM! So, hang around after the main launch has finished for some extra fun.
Bristol's biggest charity fireworks event is run by Downend Round Table and wouldn't be possible without hundreds of volunteers, doing everything from ticketing to sparklers. This is a charity event and huge amounts from previous years have been given to multiple local organisations across Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
