The Little Mermaid will run Thursday 5 December 2024 - Saturday 11 January 2025. Brought to life by Cromwell (Death of a Salesman: Young Vic, West End & Broadway) and written by Bhattacharyya (Chasing Hares: Young Vic), it is a story of love, hope and how no one is too small to change the world.
Bristol-born-and-bred Liana Cottril (Bath Theatre Royal’s Wendy: A Peter Pan Story) will take on the title role. John Leader (Wuthering Heights: National Theatre) will play ‘Kai’, with Nandi Bhebhe (Wuthering Heights: National Theatre) as ‘Coral’ and Bristol-based Alison Fitzjohn as ‘Inky Slick’ (Alice's Adventures Underground: Les Enfants Terribles)
Completing the cast is Michael Elcock (Julius Caesar: Southwark Playhouse) as ‘Richard’, Corrina Buchan as ‘Jocasta’ (Unfortunate: UK Tour) and aerialist Holly Downey (Marvel Universe Live: tour) in the ensemble.
