Acclaimed comedian starring in latest Strictly series to perform in Bristol next year

Already a favourite of the comedy scene, Chris McCausland is sure to become even more popular over the coming months as he appears on the much-loved BBC show.

 

Chris McCausland will perform ‘Yonks!’ at Bristol Beacon’s Beacon Hall on Saturday 15 February 2025.

Chris McCausland is a human from Liverpool, born in 1977, just three weeks after Liverpool’s first European Cup triumph and was very disappointed to have missed the occasion. Chris loves technology, music, football and salt & vinegar Pringles and he is bland, having lost his site gradually due to a condition called Retinitis Pigmentosa.

 

He has been performing stand-up for two decades and is a fixture of British TV, featuring in such flagship comedy shows as Have I Got News For You, Would I Lie To You?, QI, The Last Leg and 8 Out Of 10 Cats. Chris has been on Live at the Apollo three times, hosting in 2021, the same year he made a lauded appearance on the Royal Variety.

 

McCausland has also appeared on entertainment favourites such as Blankety Blank and The Jonathan Ross Show, alongside various celebrity game shows. He has his own travel series, Wonders of the World I Can’t See, on Channel 4 and was part of their hit series, Scared of the Dark. In 2022 his BAFTA presentation with Lee Mack went viral.

 

In addition to Bristol, Chris McCausland’s ‘Yonks!’ show will appear at venues in Blackpool, Nottingham, Birmingham, Sheffield, Middlesborough, Newcastle, Wolverhampton, Liverpool, York, Cheltenham, Portsmouth, Swindon, Southampton, Grimsby, Ipswich, Leicester, Blackburn, Bradford, Coventry and more.
