Posted on: 12 Sep 2024

Returning for its fourth edition in November, the much-loved celebration of cutting-edge sonics, arts and collaboration is back.

En Masse returns across multiple Bristol venues from Wednesday 13 until Saturday 16 November 2024.

Expect everything from groundbreaking live music performances to full-throttle club sets from the En Masse Music Programme, with the En Masse Community & Arts Programme, funded by Arts Council England, emphasising community, learning and artistic collaboration throughout the city across the four-day festival.

Festival passes and individual event tickets are live now on the En Masse website.

Five of Bristol’s most iconic venues will host a dynamic programme of live acts, DJs and collaborations. This year’s lineup shines a light on immersive live performance and cutting-edge technical production, with artists such as CCL, Azu Tiwaline + Forest Drive West, Steevio & Suzybee, Evo Ethel, Tina Hitchens, Mish, Paquita Gordon and Jon K.

Alongside this, the Community & Arts Programme will expand the festival’s commitment to accessibility and artistic development. Expect workshops, panels, production classes and exhibitions, aiming to engage new audiences and nurture talent. Highlights include courses with Manuka Honey and Pinch alongside various in-depth talks.

In addition to such live and AV highlights as Steevio & Suzybee’s hypnotic rhythms expect new collaborations such as the live debut of Azu Tiwaline + Forest Drive West, many of which will be premiered at the festival – pushing the boundaries of sound with artists working together in fresh ways.

With an emphasis on removing barriers to entry, this year’s programme ensures En Masse is not just a festival for electronic music fans, but also an event Bristolians can congregate to learn, create and share. To this end, and in keeping with the festival’s name, this year’s sees increased accessibility.

Music venues involved in the festival are Cube Microplex, Loco Klub, Green Works, Strange Brew and The Island; Community and Arts Venues are Loco Klub, KIT Form/JSS, Strange Brew, St. John on the Wall, The Trinity Centre, Mickey Zoggs/NOODS Radio.
