Kitchen by KASK reopens just in time for cosy autumnal meals

Posted on: 06 Sep 2024

The much-loved North Street bar and pop-up kitchen restaurant is back open this week with Bristol’s very own MasterChef Adam Ball and his ‘FRANKIES’ pop-up.

As well as a mouthwatering two-week pop-up serving up fried chicken and waffles, KASK will also continue the party by kicking off its fifth Birthday celebrations with a special Tobacco Factory takeover on Saturday 14 September, dubbed ‘KASK + Friends’.

Find out more and book your table from the Kitchen by KASK website.

Kitchen by KASK reopened this with a two-week residency from FRANKIES, a delicious fried chicken and waffles pop-up from Bristol’s own MasterChef contestant, Adam Ball. This culinary experience pays homage to Ball's daughter, showcasing a gluten-free menu paired with natural wines and local beers.

FRANKIES is a masterclass of bold flavours. For this two-week residency, Ball has created two new flavours, Red Thai and Korean, to compliment fan favourites Buffalo Blue and Maple Glazed. The signature “million-layer potatoes” are also on the menu alongside Mack & Cheese and Frickles – a favourite of Jay Rayner!

This menu will be complemented by a carefully curated selection of wines, with each dish paired with naturally sparkling wines. If you prefer grain to grape, craft beers will also be an option. Adding to the experience, the venue’s newly refreshed garden will be open for alfresco dining – let’s hope the weather improves!

KASK’s reopening has been a long time coming and the celebrations will begin beyond the walls of the bar. ‘KASK + Friends’ will see the team head to Tobacco Factory with three of their wine suppliers for a unique DIY tasting experience as part of South Bristol Arts Trail, followed by a DJ set.

FRANKIES will be running at Kitchen by KASK on North Street until Saturday 14 September 2024. Book your table HERE.
