Get ready to SCREAM at Avon Valley this Halloween!
Posted on: 05 Sep 2024Get ready for a double offering of pumpkins and scares next month as Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park is gearing up for its biggest spooky season ever.
Avon Valley is synonymous with Halloween in the South-West and, as the summer comes to a close, it’s time to start making plans for the spooky season as the park’s famous pumpkin patch is back on Saturday 28 September and the award-winning FEAR Scream Park returns on Friday 11 October 2024.

Returning once more for the cosy season, Avon Valley has provided pumpkin-based joy to guests for almost 10 years. More than just a pick-your-own patch, the park hosts seasonal games, shows, food and drink – perfect for Instagrammable moments this Halloween.
Visitors are invited to pick their own pumpkins from a horde of gourde, including multiple species from the traditional field variety to ghost pumpkins. By day, guests can shake their stuff with the Pumpkin Heads while enjoying the funfair and games like pumpkin paintball, seasonal slingshot and firing the Apple Cannon.
After dark from Friday 4 October, the patch will transform into an atmospheric autumnal paradise with an epic fire show with Halloween Actors. Pumpkin pickers will also be able to enjoy upbeat acoustic live sets from local artists while indulging in seasonal treats.
Avon Valley’s FEAR Scream Park won Best Event Entertainment at the 2024 Thrill Nation Halloween Awards and will re-open in October. Boasting two zones and five multi-sensory and immersive scare attractions, the park will play host to fire and laser shows and more, welcoming all those who dare to experience its horrors!
For those on half-term, younger scare-lovers can have their own Scream Park experience with FEARless, a frightfully fun experience that invites under 16s to navigate a tame version of four attraction mazes with no major scares (but plenty of spooks) along the way.
Find out more and book tickets for the Halloween period from the Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park website.
