December will see the acclaimed Irish quartet bring their brand-new album, Satellites, to Bristol for two extra special, intimate shows.

The Script will play two album shows at O2 Academy Bristol on Monday 16 December, one at 6 PM and one at 8.30 PM.

After 10 billion streams, 12 million album sales, six UK Number One records and two Platinum-certified singles in the US, the band will return to London’s O2 Arena in November. The self-described ‘Celtic soul’ outfit are one of Ireland’s best-loved exports in recent years, beloved the world over for their anthemic pop rock.

Their new single ‘Both Ways’ sees The Script return with a swaggering new energy, boisterous hip-hop and funk rhythms, providing irresistible dancefloor vibes to complement Danny O’Donoghue’s star-quality voice in an explosive manner.

The Script’s drummer Glen Power said of the single: “‘Both Ways’ is high energy, and maybe not what people might expect from us. But we’re The Script, and now we have something to prove, that there is life and light after the darkness. It’s why we’re coming fast and strong with that one.”

Vowing to pay tribute to their friend and co-founder of The Script Mark Sheehan by continuing the band they started together. The new album sees them experiment in various new sounds, using 808s and R&B-inspired sounds, alongside co-writers and hit makers Steve Robson (Take That) and Wayne Hector (One Direction, Nicki Minaj).

In addition to Bristol, The Script will play UK and Irish dates in Belfast, Dublin, Cardiff, Bournemouth, Nottingham, Birmingham, London, Liverpool, Glasgow, Leeds, Newcastle and Manchester.
