Beginning at Pizzarova’s flagship Gloucester Road eatery, the scheme will soon be rolled out across the chain’s other three Bristol restaurants. As it celebrates 11 years of serving the city, the company is taking significant steps towards sustainability, consolidating its position as one of the UK’s top 50 pizza spots.
The initiative is delivered in partnership with PIZZycle GmbH who supply the boxes and aligns with Pizzarova’s commitment to delivering delicious pizzas without damaging the environment. The scheme should also reduce the amount of single-use plastic that ends up in landfills.
Speaking about the initiative, Kieran Reynolds (Pizzarova’s Head of Sustainability) said: “We’re thrilled to pioneer this reusable pizza box scheme. At Pizzarova, our focus on sustainability revolves around making everyday wins in energy use, waste reduction and packaging. These new boxes are a small yet significant step towards a greener future.”
Beginning life in 2013 with just a mobile pizza oven in a converted Land Rover, Pizzarova has long been a pioneer of the food industry. The brand has grown in popularity ever since with the pizza experts committed to using locally sourced ingredients and offering a welcoming dining experience.
Pizzarova has locations on Gloucester Road, Park Street, North Street and White Ladies Road. Find out more or place an order, HERE.
