Attendees can expect local live music acts such as Albex Acoustic Duo, Emaline Delapaix, David Robinson AKA The Cold Heart Revue, Fossilheads Climate Crisis Cabaret, David Camilli, Giles Bryant and Sweet Goose as well as Swedish-based band Vystopia – with animals and the environment as central themes.
Ibiza Chill will be playing throughout the day in the outside canopy-covered area with comedy taking place in the talk rooms all afternoon. There’s also a kid’s area and ten vegan food caterers, boasting an abundance of choice, textures and worldwide flavours, from vegan pastries and savouries to doughnuts and cheesecakes.
Uplifting and inspiring speakers include vegan MP for Bristol East, Labour’s Kerry McCarthy, talking about the new government’s plans for animals; Giles Bryant on ‘How To Thrive on a Vegan Diet’ and Word Forest’s Tracey and Simon West presenting about their reforestation work in Kenya.
Speaking about this year’s Fayre, Manager Tim Barford has said: “We are delighted that over 30% of attendees are not vegan, and nearly all of them leave with a very good impression of vegan food options. If you're not yet vegan but curious about plant-based options and interested in sampling the very best, this show is for you!”
