Ridley Scott’s stylish sci-fi noir thriller follows detective Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) who must continue as Replicant Hunter following the escape of four Replicants from colonies who have returned to earth. His mission, however, is complicated when he falls for Rachel (Sean Young) – a Replicant based at Tyrell Corporation.

Released in 1982, Blade Runner was based on Philip K. Dicks’ novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?. The film was misunderstood by many when it first appeared in theatres, however, over the years it has become known as an undoubtedly sci-fi masterpiece, birthing a 2017 sequel, Blade Runner 2049, courtesy of Denis Villeneuve.

The film’s critically acclaimed soundtrack, composed by Vangelis, is regarded as the Greek electronic musician’s best-ever work and was nominated for both a BAFTA and a Golden Globe. It is perhaps most radical for its use of synths to re-create the atmosphere of a classic neo-noir jazz score.

The film will be brought to life musically by Avex Classics International, who aim to immerse the audience in classic films with scores that will forever be part of cinematic history. Experience feature films projected on vast HD screens with live musical accompaniment.
