Caribou to bring their eagerly anticipated worldwide tour to Bristol in 2025

The luminescent band, centred around Canadian composer, musician and recording artist Daniel Victor Snaith, have announced this tour off the back of the new single, ‘Honey’.

 

Caribou will play Bristol Beacon’s Beacon Hall on Monday 10 February 2025.

 

Snaith’s brand new single, ‘Honey’, is the project’s first release in two years and its uplifting sound and UK garage-inspired underscore is sure to provide a perfect soundtrack to summer 2024. General sale tickets for this one go live on Friday 31 May – hurry, this is going to be popular!

In 2004, Snaith changed his performance moniker Manitoba to his current name Caribou and re-released his previous full-length albums. His Caribou album Andorra (2008) was awarded the 2008 Polaris Music Prize while 2010’s Swim was shortlisted for the Polaris Music Prize and named Best Album by Resident Advisor.

 

Our Love came in 2014 and proved to be Snaith’s most commercially successful album to date, peaking at number eight on the UK Album Charts and 46 in the US Top 200 Billboard Album Chart, being shortlisted for the 2015 Polaris Music Prize and nominated for a Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album in the process.

 

As a live performer, Caribou has toured worldwide ever since early 2003, supporting art rock legends Radiohead on their ‘King of Limbs’ tour and performing at various prestigious music festivals. With a live band consisting of Snaith, Ryan Smith, John Schmersal and Brad Weber, Caribou is a vital live performer.
