Genre-bending jazz-funk project Ezra Collective formed in London back in 2016 and are made up of drummer and bandleader Femi Koleoso, bassist TJ Koleoso, trumpeter Ife Ogunjobi, and tenor saxophonist James Mollison.

Emerging as one of the most exciting acts on London’s dynamic underground jazz community, the quintet quickly drew the attention of the wider music scene due to their high-energy live shows. They released their debut album, You Can’t Steal My Joy, in 2019 and haven’t looked back since.

Their latest offering, Where I’m Meant To Be, explores themes of resilience and reliance, the story of the Black British experience and life’s fundamental difficulties, while also celebrating the push through hardship. Embraced by fans and critics alike as a modern classic, the record has led to sell-out tours across the world.

In addition to Bristol, Ezra Collective’s 2024 schedule will see them perform UK and Irish dates in Birmingham, Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester, Dublin and London as well as high-profile festival appearances at All Points East, Wild Fields and more. Visit the group’s website for full details.
