An eclectic indie punk festival hits town tomorrow

Posted on: 12 Apr 2024

Prepare yourself as the vibrant and authentic Outer Town, one of Bristol's most fiercely independent multi-venue festivals, hits the Old Market tomorrow – with a massive expansion!

Outer Town isn’t your average festival – it's a celebration of Bristol's diverse music scene and the raw talent that pulses through the city's veins. Set against the hidden-gem backdrop of Old Market's eclectic venue scene, this festival promises to be a whirlwind of electrifying performances and unforgettable experiences. A few tickets are still remaining, so get in there while you can.

Featuring a lineup bursting with fresh-faced bands from Bristol and beyond, Outer Town offers a platform to discover up-and-coming talent like never before. From the punk haven Exchange to the Americana vibes of The Ill Repute, the festival is hosted by some of Bristol's most iconic venues, each adding their unique flavour to the mix.

But that's not all – this year, Outer Town is expanding in a big way. With a brand new festival hub and stage at Trinity Centre, vegan street food to tantalize your taste buds, the return of the DIY Creatives Market, and an afterparty featuring a DJ set from Tokky Horror, Outer Town is proving itself to be an eclectic community festival with a real variety of experiences to enjoy.

With offerings like that, you might even forget about the lineup - but you shouldn't. With headliners like the shamanic, ghillie-suited post-punks Snapped Ankles and Danny Nedelko's electrifying noise-rock outfit Heavy Lungs, alongside acts like the psych-rock Flamingods, Getdown Services, DEADLETTER, and our 'one-to-watch' pick, workfriends, this year's Outer Town promises to be an unforgettable experience for music lovers of all tastes.

So grab your (suprisingly affordable) tickets and get ready to join the festivities tomorrow, Saturday 13 April, across Old Market. For more information on the lineup, the venues, and to secure your tickets, head to Outer Town's website now.
