This grand reopening comes after We The Curious sustained substantial fire damage in 2022. Since then, the team behind the beloved Bristol attraction have been working tirelessly towards reopening, whether that be visiting schools, festivals, community, and centres or delivering over 270 free activities to more than 37,000 people.
Curious new visitors and returning fans alike will be able to explore two magic floors of interactive fun this summer. Experience a world of possibilities with Project What If, which opened not long before it closed. Inspired by seven questions from the people of Bristol, you’ll delve into some of life’s biggest mysteries.
Opening in 2000 as Explore @ Bristol before changing its name to We The Curious in 2017, the science-orientated attraction is seen as a vital part of Bristol’s story. Speaking about the reopening, Donna Speed (CEO of We The Curious) has said:
“We’re so excited to be able to announce our opening date this summer! The support we’ve had from our city has been incredible, so a huge thank you to everyone who’s continued to encourage us throughout the last two years – it really does mean a lot.
“It’s beyond heart-warming to hear how special We The Curious is to so many and the fondness they hold for it – and also how people who haven’t visited before are itching to experience everything on offer. We can’t wait to welcome you back very soon, and see the venue filled with joy and energy again!”
If you’re looking for some fun, free activities for the family this Easter, we’ve got you covered! We’re heading back Out and About across the city once more before we reopen this summer. Find out more on our 'activities' page: https://t.co/2hROv4C1x2 pic.twitter.com/geJvX2IcOJ
