With their new record set for release next month and a fresh single out now, the visceral three-piece have a busy year ahead of gigging – including a trip to Stokes Croft.

Aerial Salad will play Bristol’s Crofters Rights on Friday 7 June 2024.

This fast-rising Manchester trio are as authentic as it gets and, on their new album R.O.I. (due for release on Friday 12 April), they’re injecting the raw chaos and violent charm from their live show straight into their recordings – thus furthering the band’s goal of making themselves known to everyone and anyone!

From rave heads to indie kids, poets to rockers, punks to pop fanatics, Aerial Salad want to defy the borders of tribes and genres. Their new album, R.O.I., dips into fantasy while acutely bedded in the modern post-Brexit, un-United Kingdom – providing the soundtrack to this brand-new world.

Fresh on the heels of previous singles ‘Big Business’ and ‘Tied To Pieces Of Paper’, the three-piece have released fresh new single ‘Chances’. This ferocious track is a scathing attack on the endless submission to perfection we are faced with in modern life.

Speaking about ‘Chances’, guitarist and vocalist Jamie Munro has said: “There are insanely unrealistic expectations on just about every aspect of life people have. This is a song about celebrating imperfections and the desire to grow through adversity and about how predatory social media can be to people that don’t feel perfect.”

The single is riddled with a thumping fury that perfectly communicates the lyrical frustration with dark, intense verses. Complete with a hooky, sneering chorus, ‘Chances’ sounds like Fugazi meets Jesus Lizard, Oasis meets High Viz.

Lovingly recorded in their hometown of Manchester, R.O.I. is a record born out of the hard-touring, DIY punk community. In addition to Bristol, Aerial Salad’s headline album tour will drop by venues in Leeds, Newcastle, Sheffield, Birmingham, Brighton, London, and Manchester.
