Released in 2004, Plot Antics was the album that truly cemented Interpol’s position as one of the most influential bands of their generation. Its dark, atmospheric soundscape from Daniel Kessler (guitar) and Sam Fogarino (drums) with frontman Paul Banks’ signature vocals spawned such iconic tracks as ‘Slow Hands’, ‘Evil’ and ‘C’mere’.

Formed in New York in the late 90s, Interpol quickly perforated the popular music consciousness with a unique concoction of post-punk, shoegaze, and dark-wave influences. Their debut album, Turn on the Bright Lights, was a smash hit critical and commercial success, establishing them as a major force of alternative music.

Throughout their long career, the trio have released seven critically acclaimed studio albums, including their most recent offering, 2022’s The Other Side of Make Believe, which sold over a million records worldwide.

To this day, the band continue to tour extensively, captivating their dedicated fanbase with their legendary live performances. 2024 will see the band tour the US, South America, Europe and the UK, celebrating the 20th anniversary of a modern classic that continues to resonate with fans worldwide.

As well as Bristol Beacon, the anniversary tour of Plot Antics will drop by Wolverhampton’s The Halls, Manchester O2 Apollo, Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall, Newcastle O2 City Hall and London’s Alexandra Palace.
