The much-loved trio Busted will ‘Meet You There’ at the beautiful Bristol Amphitheatre to celebrate 20 years of pop perfection.

 

Busted will play this year’s Bristol Sounds series on Thursday 27 June 2024.

 

Following the sell-out success of the recently announced Placebo show, acclaimed summer Bristol Sounds is back with another buzzworthy headliner in pop-punk royalty, Busted! This show is sure to prove popular so make sure your finger is on the buzzer when general sale tickets go on sale at 10 AM on Friday 1 March.

Busted will be celebrating 20 years of chart-topping success with Number One hits such as ‘Crashed The Wedding, ‘Who’s David’, ‘Thunderbirds Are Go’ and the top three singles ‘Year 3000’, ‘Air Hostess’ and ‘Sleeping With The Lights On’ – fans can look forward to an electrifying performance featuring a blend of chart-topping anthems and fan favourites.

 

Known as a real live spectacle, the band – made up of Matt Wills, Charlie Simpson and James Bourne – have sold out multiple arena tours. There upcoming Bristol Sounds appearance will be their first in Bristol since playing at a sold-out O2 Academy in 2017.

 

Speaking about the announcement, Crosstown Concerts’ Conal Dodds has said:

 

“Busted resonates with several generations of music enthusiasts, and their fans have a deep connection with the band, returning time and time again to see them doing what they do best, at their very best. They’re celebrating 20 years and we’re celebrating 20 years of Bristol Sounds, so it’s a perfect match for us.”

 

With one more all-day Saturday event still to be announced, and heavy hitters such as Skindred, Gentleman’s Dub Club, James Arthur, Placebo and The Breeders already scheduled, the much loved open-air gig series Bristol Sounds will take over Bristol Amphitheatre from Saturday 22 until Sunday 30 June 2024.
