Open Evening for South Bristol Girls Rugby at Bristol Barbarians RFC
Posted on: 21 Feb 2024South Bristol Girls Rugby will be hosting an Open Evening on Friday 23 February 2024 at Bristol Barbarians Rugby Club, located on Norton Lane just outside Whitchurch Village (BS14 0BT).
Currently they run an Under 12's and Under 14's team and will be looking to expand into other age groups for the 2024 Season commencing in September. This will include Under 16's so all years from 7-11 are catered for. Training is on Thursday evenings with games on Sundays.
Fell free to pop along this Friday 23rd February at 6.30pm to meet some of the coaches, parents and players for an open training session.
South Bristol Girls was formed in July 2022 and includes the amalgamation of girls teams from Bristol Harlequins, Broad Plain, Old Redcliffians and St Bernadettes. A very experience coaching team includes Jess Sprague from Bristol Bears Women, Ben Thomas, James Hallzy, Laura and Sam Alfaraj, Luke Summerfield and an army of volunteers!
