Dubbed one of The Guardian and The Telegraph’s 50 Best Comedians of the 21st Century, Nish Kumar will be touring a brand-new stand-up show later this year.

Nish Kumar’s ‘Nish, Don’t Kill My Vibe’ tour drops by Bristol Beacon’s Beacon Hall on Thursday 26 September 2024.

“In this election year – with the country in turmoil – there’s only one comedian who can kill the mood even further...” Nish Kumar’s fresh politically charged stand-up show is just what we’ve come to expect from the acclaimed funnyman. General sale tickets for this show go on sale this Friday, 26 January 2024.

Hailing from London, Nish Kumar has achieved massive success on the stand-up circuit with rave reviews for his solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe, two of which were nominated for the prestigious award for Best Show.

He has also long been a favourite on television and radio, first breaking onto the airwaves in 2016 with two series of his own topical BBC Radio 4 show, Spotlight Tonight; since then he has also hosted The News Quiz and Newsjack.

On-screen, Kumar has appeared in Q.I., Mock The Week, Live At The Apollo (all BBC Two), Have I Got News For You, The John Bishop Show (both BBC One), 8 Out Of 10 Does Countdown on Channel on Channel 4 and various others.

In more recent times, he has starred alongside fellow comedian Joel Dommett in a six-part travelogue for Comedy Central entitled Joel and Nish Vs The World and hosted his own satirical news show, The Mash Report for BBC Two.

In Nish Kumar’s new show, comedy fans can expect jokes about climate collapse, income inequality and the emotional sensation of being a British Indian man who isn’t going to vote for a British Indian PM. It’s 80 minutes of sweet, sweet vibe-killing.

As well as Bristol, the upcoming ‘Nish, Don’t Kill My Vibe’ tour will appear at venues in London, Norwich, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leicester, Swindon, Cardiff, Birmingham, Leeds, Sheffield, Liverpool, Nottingham, Exeter, Bath, Hull, York, Cambridge, Coventry, Brighton, Dublin, Cheltenham, Reading and more.
