Celebrating half a century of delivering some of the smartest and sweetest guitar pop of the rock & roll era, Squeeze are embarking on a massive UK tour next year.
Squeeze’s 50th Anniversary Tour will drop by Bristol Beacon’s Beacon Hall on Wednesday 30 October 2024.
In October, Bristolian music fans will have the chance to catch Squeeze performing an impressive list of hits and rare gems from their extensive back catalogue including ‘Tempted’, ‘Cool For Cats’, ‘Up The Junction’, ‘Hourglass’, ‘Another Nail in My Heart’ and ‘Pulling Mussels’.

Formed by Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook (both still going strong in the band) in 1974 and quickly enlisting the help of now-legendary piano extraordinaire Jools Holland on the keyboard and Paul Gunn on drums, Squeeze are one of rock’s vital institutions with almost as many hits as they’ve had members over the years.
A celebrated band who have carved out a distinctive place in the fabric of British pop with their vibrantly melodic and perceptive songs written by Difford and Tilbrook the songwriting backbone of the group throughout their 50-year career – composing a formidable discography featuring smash hit after smash hit.
Once again, the beloved band’s upcoming tour will see them working in collaboration with UK hunger and poverty charity The Trussell Trust, inviting fans to bring food donations along to the show in aid of those in need. Support for the 2024 tour comes from Mercury Prize winner Badly Drawn Boy.
Squeeze’s upcoming 50th Anniversary Tour will see the band drop by venues in Sheffield, Birmingham, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Manchester, Newcastle, Stoke, Nottingham, York, Liverpool, Llandudno, Leicester, Cambridge, Ipswich, Southend, Southampton, Guildford, Bristol, Cardiff, Brighton, Plymouth, Aylesbury, Reading, Swansea, Eastbourne and London.
