Described on BBC Radio 2 as the “musical of its generation”, Dear Evan Hansen is an Olivier, Tony and Grammy Award-winning Best Musical – and its coming to Bristol in 2025!

 

Dear Evan Hansen will run at The Bristol Hippodrome from Tuesday 11 until Saturday 15 February 2025.

Dear Evan Hansen introduces us to Evan, an anxious high school kid who just wants to fit in. The thing is, on his way to fitting in, he didn’t tell the whole truth and now he must give up a life that he never dreamt he’d have. As event spiral and the truth begins to tell, Evan faces a reckoning with himself and everyone around him.

 

This much-loved play is jam packed with musical theatre hits such as ‘Waving Through A Window’, ‘Sincerely, Me’, ‘You Will Be Found’ and has won a myriad of awards, including the Tony Award for Best Musical, an Olivier Award for Best New Musical and a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Score.

 

 

With direction from Nottingham Playhouse Artistic Director Adam Penford, this brand new production marks the first time the Broadway and West End phenomenon will take to the road in the UK and Ireland – make sure you don’t miss it!

 

In addition to Bristol, Dear Evan Hansen’s UK tour will see the production drop by venues in Nottingham, Leicester, Brighton, Birmingham, Leeds, Liverpool, Sunderland, Manchester, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Belfast, Wimbledon, Wolverhampton, Sheffield, Plymouth, Hull, Cardiff, Norwich and more across 2024 and 2025.
