While the weather forecast is not looking great, there are a plethora of fireworks displays and bonfires taking place all over Bristol.
So, wrap yourselves up, get some sparklers (check they're allowed at your event of choice first!) and maybe even some mulled Thatchers if you're over 18 - a good recipe can be found here. Downend Round Table Fireworks | Friday 3 November

One of Bristol's favourite yearly fireworks displays, Downend Round Table have already announced that it is going ahead despite the battering of Storm Ciaran. This is Bristol's biggest charity fireworks event and each year thousands of pounds is raised for local good causes on top of an epic firework show, a bonfire, quality entertainment, a children's show, food, drink, sparklers and the best after-show party in town.

Fireworks to Music Spectacular at Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park | Friday 3 - Sunday 5 November

This next one is a three-day extravaganza! Avon Valley are once more teaming up with Aardvark FX (suppliers of world-class pyrotechnics and special effects friends) to present a jaw-dropping musical extravaganza. Almondsbury Fireworks 2023 - A Tribute To Star Wars | Friday 3 November

Here's an interesting one. Every year, Almondsbury Fireworks looks to push the boundaries with their themed celebrations and the 2023 edition is no different! It's time to feel the force with Star Wars-themed entertainment including Jabba the Hut’s lair, Lightsaber school, Walkabout characters and more as well as - for the first time - laser and pyro shows!
Bradley Stoke Fireworks Display | Sunday 5 November

Our next pick is one of Bristol's best community Bonfire Night events. Organised by Bradley Stoke Town Council, this 'display to music' is FREE to attend with a collection taking place at the event for the mayor’s charities, which this year are Prostate Cancer UK, The Brightwell and Mamas Bristol.

Another massive charity event, the Canford Park Fiesta is always an immensely popular affair with a range of excellent official food and non-alcoholic drink stalls as well as a truly spectacular firework display, choreographed to music - performed by the reigning British Firework Champions.
