Based on the classic 1982 film starring Richard Gere, a star-studded cast has been announced for this brand-new production which rolls into Bristol in September 2024.

 

An Officer and a Gentleman the Musical runs at The Bristol Hippodrome from Monday 2 until Saturday 7 September 2024.

 

The producers of this enchanting musical have this week announced that Luke Baker, Georgia Lennon, Jamal Crawford, Paul French and Sinead Long will star as Zack Mayo, Paula Pokrifki, Gunnery Sergeant Emil Foley, Sid Worley and Lynette Pomeroy respectively.

Luke Baker (Billy Elliot onstage, Andor onscreen) will play Zack, Georgia Lennon plays Paula (The Osmonds: A New Musical, Lady Chatterley’s Lover onstage), Jamal Crawford plays Emil (Fame The Musical, Guys & Dolls onstage), Paul French plays Sid (Grease, Annie onstage) and Sinead Long is Lynette (9 to Five onstage, Prince Andrew the Musical onscreen).

 

This spectacular musical is set to a smash hit soundtrack with songs from Madonna, Bon Jovi, Cyndi Lauper, Blondie and more with the power of musical hurtling us through the highs and lows of a love story like no other – including the award-winning tune, ‘(Love Lift Us) Up Where We Belong’.
