The Bristol Fashion Show returns next month!

Taking over The Mount Without in November, this exciting show will showcase the very best of Bristol’s vibrant independent fashion and art culture.

 

The Bristol Fashion Show will take place at The Mount Without on Sunday 19 November 2023.

 

This will be a fabulous celebration of Bristol’s burgeoning talents in the creative field; whether that be fashion designers, photographers, hair stylists, make-up artists, or models. All taking place amongst the beautiful surroundings of The Mount Without, this is sure to be a pretty special event!

The Bristol Fashion Show aims to promote and exhibit Bristol’s fashion talent and they believe in local investment, collaborating with creative to create a diverse and passionate community in which everyone has a voice. The show provides a platform where all ages and backgrounds can really get involved in an inclusive, community spirited event.

 

Attendees can expect a two hour show with a catwalk featuring multi-culture fashion, colour, music and dance. More than 19 designers and artist will be showcasing their diverse and surprising creations. From sustainable clothes to Indian fashion, crochet to “the Arts and Crafts Project” for young people of African and Caribbean descent, this event has everything!

 

Entertainment includes Flamenco dancing from Farida as well as a performance from the returning award-winning singer, rapper and songwriter, Gigi Tenase. DJ Stretch will also be performing throughout the show.

 

Since 2009, TBFS have hosted event throughout the city, including Hamilton House, Ashton Court and The Mount Without. With each show, the organisation has inspired more and more people, building confidence, growing friendships and bringing people together.

 

This year’s event will be donating £2 from each ticket to and raising awareness for Cure4Carmela from Muscular Dystrophy UK. In 2019, Carmela (who lives with muscular dystrophy) took part in a TBFS catwalk for the first time aged just 5 years old, making her dream of becoming a model come true. Find out more, here.
