Posted on: 15 Aug 2023

Celebrating VegFest’s 20-year anniversary of organising groundbreaking vegan festivals with a massive FREE party right in the heart of Bristol.

VegFest UK’s Bristol Vegan Fayre will take place at Document, Pennywell Lane on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 September 2023.

Taking place at Motion’s brand-new sister venue, Document, this special event returns in early autumn and organisers are expecting between 3,000 and 4,000 visitors over the two days in what hopes to once more become an annual event, raking VegFest back to its roots.

Tickets are FREE but must be booked HERE.

Bristol Vegan Fayre is back, this time hosted at Document on Pennywell Lane, featuring a massive indoor space housing around 80 stallholders, including ten caterers, and a whole host of talks and entertainment.

A chill out room at the back of the venue will provide a space for workshops, kids activities, a licenced bar and space for seating. The main talks toom will seat around 150, hosting a programme of inspirational speakers, performers and panels discussing the theme of activism and movement unity.

There will also be a quaint little outside space, featuring a DJ and dance zone, taking VegFest back to its roots and their original annual events held in Bristol throughout the noughties. Indeed, this year’s event sees a headline DJ set from Ray Mighty of Smith & Mighty on the Saturday.

Each day will also feature packed hour of comedy with six vegan comedians, including an all-female lineup on the Sunday as well as a smattering of live music performances throughout the weekend. With bars and food also on offer, what more could you want?

VegFest UK’s Bristol Vegan Fayre will take place at Document, Pennywell Lane on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 September 2023. The event is FREE to attend but tickets must be purchased in advance – find out more HERE.
