The brainchild of award-winning art collective Squidsoup, Beyond Submergence has ran at Propyard for a month now, taking audiences on an awe-inspiring journey through light and sound installations.

Beyond Submergence runs at Propyard, on Feeder Road, until Thursday 31 August 2023.

Squidsoup’s latest creation is already a smash hit success, with the retrospective exhibition bringing the collective’s renowned light and sound installations together in one massive industrial space. This is a spectacle you don’t want to miss!

To book tickets, head to the Propyard website now.

A brand-new creation spanning across 20,000 square feet Beyond Submergence utilises light, space, sound, scale, movement and technology to induce an emotional response from its visitors, blurring the boundaries between the work and the spaces they inhabit.

The exhibition features such work as ‘Granularities’, a series of wall art pieces that use Musou Black (a paint that absorbs as much as 99.4% of reflected light); Aurora, which uses the world’s lightest solid Aerogel (used by NASA to collect space dust); and ‘Wave’, made up of 500 individual orbs suspended from the ceiling in addition to dynamic audio.

Other installations include ‘Phase Shifter’, an ever-shifting audio-visual landscape consisting of 16 moving sound and light sources; ‘Submergence’, an epic hybrid environment that combines the virtual and the physical; and, finally, the brand-new exhibit ‘Sola’ – which depicts the power of the sun with a wall of Fresnel lenses and bright LED lights.

Beyond Submergence runs at Propyard, on Feeder Road, until Thursday 31 August 2023 with tickets operating on a tiered system. Peak and off-peak options are available for adults, youth and children with various discounted offers. Secure yours HERE.

Fans of groundbreaking sensory experiences will also be happy to learn that Beyond Submergence has joined forces with Wake The Tiger for a special double ticket promotion. Find out more here.
