A comedy megastar for the best part of fifteen years, Jack Whitehall first won the hearts of UK comedy fans as a stand-up performer. Succeses at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival as well as awards including the 2012 People’s Choice Award of the King of Comedy and the 2013 British Comedy Awards have built his reputation as a first-rate live act.

However, it is on the small screen that Whitehall truly broke into the showbusiness mainstream. During the 2010s, the Londoner impressed in roles such as public school toff JP in Jesse Armstrong’s hit Channel 4 Comedy, Fresh Meat, and hapless teacher Alfie in popular comedy Bad Education – which he also wrote!

Other TV appearances include his very own BBC Three chat show Backchat (which he hosts alongside his father and collaborator, Michael) as well as A League Of Their Own, Mock The Week, Travels With My Father, Jack Whitehall’s Sporting Nation, Top Gear and more.

Recently, Whitehall has found a home in the world of Hollywood with appearances in Disney’s Frozen; Mother’s Day starring Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson and Julia Roberts; Disney’s The Nutcracker and The Four Realms with Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt.

As well as Bristol, the UK and Ireland leg of Whitehall’s ‘Settle Down’ tour will visit venues in Exeter, Ipswich, Coventry, Grimsby, Halifax, Edinburgh, Peterborough, Bournemouth, Oxford, Cardiff, Scarborough, Salford, Stockton, Southend, Belfast, Dublin, Aberdeen, Blackpool and Leicester. Jack Whitehall will perform at The Bristol Hippodrome four times across Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 October with tickets for the newly announced 3 PM shows available to purchase from 10 AM on Friday 28 July. Secure yours HERE.
