With tickets for Boyle’s September performance at the city’s biggest theatre venue, the cynical Scot has today announced a second Bristol date for his brand new ‘Lap Of Shame’ tour.

 

Frankie Boyle will drop by The Bristol Hippodrome on Saturday 2 March 2024.

 

International comedy superstar Frankie Boyle is back on tour. Fans are advised to buy a ticket because, by the time he arrives, the currency will be worthless, and you and your neighbours will be part of a struggling militia that could probably use a few laughs.

 

Tickets for Frankie Boyle’s newly announced second date go on general sale tomorrow, Friday 14 July 2023.

One of the UK’s most renowned comedians, Frankie Boyle is revered for his cynical and often dark material. Despite beginning his career in stand-up way back in 1995, it was not until he became a regular Mock the Week panellist in the late 2000s that he began to gain widespread recognition.

 

This early success saw Boyle transition into creating his own television shows, beginning with Channel 4 Sketch show, Frankie Boyle’s Tramadol Nights in 2010. He has since won plaudits for his long-running BBC chat show, Frankie Boyle’s New World Order.

 

In more recent times he has put out a number of limited series including Frankie Boyle’s Tour of Scotland and, earlier this year, Frankie Boyle’s Farewell to the Monarchy on Channel 4 – a documentary discussing the history of the monarchy. Known for his confrontational and often controversial style, Boyle is also an immensely popular stand-up performer.

 

As well as his two Bristol dates, Frankie Boyle’s ‘Lap Of Shame’ tour will see him appear at venues in Edinburgh (as part of The Fringe), Aberdeen, Torquay, Brighton, London, Bradford, Newcastle, Reading, Manchester, Grimsby, Hull, Liverpool, Stoke-On-Trent, Birmingham, Oxford, Southampton, Bath, Dublin, Belfast and more.
