A staple on popular comedy TV panel shows including Mock The Week, 8 out of 10 Cats and Would I Lie To You in the fledgling years of his career, Howard is a comedian who has seen a meteoric rise for the better part of ten years.

Howard quickly landed his own prime-time BBC show, Russell Howard's Good News, which proved to be a smash hit success. The show propelled the now 42-year-old to household name status and led on to further prosperous ventures such as The Russell Howard Hour and his own Netflix special, Recalibrate.

Having grown up in Bristol and studied at the University of the West of England, Howard holds a special place in the hearts of many Bristolians and, in July 2021, the comedian performed his show 'Respite' to an excited crowd at Ashton Gate Stadium.

'Respite' faced numerous covid-related hurdles before taking the world by storm, reeling in rave reviews and covering everything from the pandemic to politics, to anal fissures. Having officially finished the tour in August, Howard did hint at the upcoming announcement of more shows (see below) and Bristol has proved to be one destination.

Russel Howard will be at Bristol Hippodrome on Wednesday 19, Thursday 20, Friday 21, Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 April 2023 for a five-night run of shows.

With 50 seats today made available for the matinee performances this Saturday and Sunday, fans will have to be quick to secure theirs. Grab tickets HERE.
