Bristol Beer Factory already have a firm hold on Bristol’s beer scene with their produce proudly brewed in BS3, the location of their Brewery Tap Room, and the relatively new Studio BBF – the perfect spot for watching live sport or hosting a private function.
As Bristol’s longest-running independent brewery, BBF’s beer is a feature at venues all over the city from independent boozers to Ashton Gate Stadium, which is located just around the corner from the brewery. Popular titles include American pale ale Independence, amber ale Fortitude, the Uk’s original Milk Stout and the Infinity helles lager.
In keeping with Wapping Wharf’s rich history, the venue name, ‘Junction’, is inspired by the local Bristol Harbour Railway, which ran from 1872 until 1987. This new venue will solidify BBF’s presence in the city centre and allow the team to champion fellow Bristol independents through food suppliers, guest beers and other locally sourced products.
BBF are promising a proper pub so visitors can expect classics including scotch eggs, ploughman’s lunches, and Sunday roasts with a long-time associate, chef and restauranteur Josh Eggleton providing the menu.
On the opening of Junction, Sam Burrows (BBF’s Managing Director) has said: “We’re aiming to create a destination for everyone, from those popping by for lunch, an after-work beer, or somewhere to enjoy a drink by the harbourside.”
Junction, Bristol Beer Factory’s latest venture, is set to open in Wapping Wharf this Spring. Find out more on the brewery's website.
