Bristol Cider & Cheese Festival is just around the corner

Posted on: 24 Mar 2023

Much loved Bristol mainstays The Cider Box and The Bristol Cheesemongers have joined forces to create a cider and cheese festival like no other this Spring.

Bristol Cider & Cheese Festival will take place at Propyard’s Crane Room & Courtyard between 1 PM and 11.30 PM on Saturday 1 April 2023.

Tickets for this spectacular event will include a limited edition festival cup, 2 half pints of cider and access to all workshops, cider tasting and cheese pairings with live music scheduled throughout the day.

Tickets for the festival can be found on the Propyard website.

Attendees can expect an astonishing roster of mouth-watering ciders and delicious cheeses from some of Bristol’s finest vendors. The legendary and mischievous punk-folk band Black Water County will be delighting those present with a set described that has been described as “Mayhem sprinkled with laughs and beer and of course some rollicking good tunes.”

Also playing at the event will be Bristol’s The Imprints, the self-dubbed “Gypsy-Pirate-Folk Explosion” band that can always be relied on to bring a good time with their cider-folk-soaked bangers.

The Cider Box (which has sites in St Phillip’s and Wapping Wharf) has one mission: to flood the UK with not-from-concentrate cider made by the finest independent producers around. Founded in 2012, this is the place to find the best fermented juices available – find out more here.

Also located in Wapping Wharf is The Bristol Cheesemonger, a local specialist cheese shop known for its delicious selection of locally sourced hand-selected cheeses. As well as stocking a range of excellent local produce on-site, the shop also offers a monthly cheese subscription – find out more here.

These two Bristol institutions are joining forces for Bristol Cider & Cheese Festival at Propyard’s Crane Room and Courtyard on Saturday 1 April 2023. Tickets are selling fast so be sure to secure yours HERE.
