October half term is just around the corner and the Wild Place is planning something very special for Bristol’s energetic little monsters.

The Halloween half term trail will run from Friday 21 until Sunday 6 October.

The fun family attraction - that will be transformed into the new Bristol Zoo in 2024 – is known for providing a blend of outdoor adventure, play and learning and this October half term looks no different.

Head to the Wild Place website to book your visit now.

Running through late October and early November, visitors can grab a Halloween activity trail leaflet to guide them around the enormous Wild Place site and the exciting, spooky scenes that will be hidden there.

Visitors young and old can explore the ‘wild wood’ at Webb’s Brake, which will be transformed into a fun and creepy Halloween Scenes complete with over 300 pumpkins.

Everyone who completes the trail will receive a sweet treat and the end and children who arrive dressed up as their favourite Halloween character (or bring a carved pumpkin to add to the trail will) will get 20% off the entry fee using the voucher code WILD20.

However, it’s not only spooky scenes that visitors can explore, there is so so much to discover at the sprawling 50 acre site (equivalent to 25 football pitches) with a dense population of animals including bears, wolves, giraffes and lemurs as well as native wildlife.

Throughout the day, zookeepers will be carrying out fascinating animal feeds and talks, details can be found on the Wild Place website or on the information board at the site’s entrance.

The Wild Place Halloween half term trail will run from Friday 21 until Sunday 6 October, book your visit here.

Tickets are £14 for adults and £11 for children, under 2s and carers go free with annual passes available, the site also contains a range of cafes and kiosks. Head to the Wild Place website for more information.
