Organisers of 'Prototype', a festival of ideas set to take place at Tobacco Factory across four days in March, have unveiled the lineup of artists booked to perform this year.

Taking place on Tuesday 8, Thursday 10, Tuesday 15, and Thursday 17 March, each scheduled event will contain four or five courageous performances lasting anywhere between five and 20 minutes.

Head to 'Prototype's' webpage to find more information and to book tickets.

Co-delivered by Bristol Old Vic, Tobacco Factory Theatres, Trinity Centre and The Wardrobe Theatre, 'Prototype' has been organised as part of a new Connecting The Dots initiative.

This collaborative venture is designed to pool the skills of multiple inner-city venues to present and cross-promote shows, free workshops, meetups, residencies, and open forums for artists and audiences here in the South West.

A statement announcing the initiative reads: "the past few years have been a testing time for our industry. Looking to the future, we want to change how we work together in Bristol and the South West.

"As a small group of venues, we have started thinking about how as a collective we might find moments in the year to link our pathways and programmes for artists, celebrating and sustaining them alongside platforming their work in the places they call home."

'Prototype' aims to spark inspiring conversations and enables the audience to experience the unfolding of the creative process and connect with performers as they unleash their newest ideas.

Full details of the festival's line-up and tickets for this event can be found via 'Prototype's' webpage.
