CALL OUT: BFI Film Academy looking for young film makers to submit work

BFI Film Academy is on the hunt for short films made by young filmmakers aged 16-25 based in the southwest to be screened in their SCENE programme, which celebrates filmmaking talent from across the region.
The successful entrant's work will feature on BFI Film Academy South West's website and will be toured in venues across the region in 2022. The chosen filmmaker may also be asked to take part in a filmmaking panel to talk about their movie.
Submitted films can be live-action, documentary, or animation and must be under 10 minutes in length. Head to BFI Film Academy's website for more information and to submit your work.

BFI Film Academy offers opportunities for 16-25-year-olds looking to get to know more about film and how to make their aspirations of a career in the screen industry a reality.
To achieve this, the academy hosts a range of accessible courses, events, workshops, talks and networking sessions designed to build connections and offer insight into the industry through sharing expertise.
Through SCENE - the programme this call out is for - emerging young film talent get the chance to connect with their peers, watch their shorts, and ask questions and learn from them.
