Mischievous comedian, Tommy Tiernan, will be performing his eccentric stand-up show, ‘Tommy Tiernan: Tomfoolery’, at 1532 Performing Arts Centre in April as part of a massive UK and Ireland tour.

Twice rearranged due to the pandemic – the date was originally scheduled for November 2020 – it’s been a long time coming for Tiernan with the funny man finally in Bristol on 8 April 2022.

Tickets for ‘Tomfoolery’ can be found on the event page.

The Irish actor and comedian, renowned for his no holds barred style, has become a key figure within UK and Irish comedy; winning multiple awards including Channel 4’s ‘So You Think You’re Funny’ award, the Edinburgh Fringe’s ‘Perrier Comedy Award’ and Best Stand-Up at the British Comedy Awards.

Tiernan has had roles on well-loved sitcoms such as ‘Father Ted’, ‘Small Potatoes’ and ‘Derry Girls’ as well as high-profile appearances on show like ‘The Late Late Show’ and ‘Late Show with David Letterman’.

The comedian has also presented his own chat show ‘The Tommy Tiernan Show’ on Ireland’s RTÉ since 2017 in which neither Tiernan nor his audience know who the guests will be.

He is known for his sharp and mischievous style and fans can expect the same from ‘Tomfoolery’. In the show Tiernan tackles God, sex and family in a style that is at once candid and incredibly entertaining.

As well as the Bristol date, ‘Tomfoolery’ will also play dates in Belfast, London, Basingstoke, Poole, Margate, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Glasgow, Northampton, Exeter and Dublin amongst others. Head to Tiernan’s website for more information.

Tickets for the show at 1532 Performing Arts Centre, Bristol on 8 April are available to purchase now from the event page.
