Coming to the Bristol gallery space and venue for a limited amount of time, the Titanic exhibition will feature never before seen stories and artifacts relating to the tragic story of the world’s most famous passenger liner.

Running between 22 and 27 February, the exciting exhibition – presented by Titanic Museum UK – will take attendees on a riveting historical journey in a small, intimate setting.

Tickets for the showcase at the Island Gallery are £8.69 for adults and free for children of 10 and under, head to the event page to book yours now.

Everyone knows the terrible story of the Titanic’s first (and only) voyage, a tragedy that saw 1,500 people die when the luxury steam ship struck an iceberg during its maiden transatlantic voyage in 1912.

For one week only, Bristolians will have the opportunity to catch sight of a whole slew of intriguing artefacts and learn about the people from Bristol that embarked on the Titanic’s fateful voyage.

Amongst these artifacts are significant artifacts that have never been seen by the public, these include:

A full-size bronze recreation of the ship’s Grand Staircase cherub, third class steward Thomas Mullin’s notebook, personal items of Titanic’s stoker William James Major, a foghorn used during the rescue mission and china and silverware used by first class passengers.

As well as presenting these items of interest, the exhibition will take on a narrational style with a focus on the people of the Titanic, life onboard and the way that the world changed because of the disaster.

The team behind the upcoming PC video game ‘Titanic: Honor & Glory’ will also be providing a playable demo. Players will have the opportunity to explore a fully recreated and historically accurate Titanic and experience its tragic sinking. Visit the game's Youtube channel to watch a 7 minute showcase.

Tickets for the exhibition, that runs for a week between 22 and 27 February, are available to purchase now from the event page.
