Bristol's biggest club venue is kicking off the new year with a bang.

The Motion team have confirmed a full programme for their first phase of 2022, set to invite an array of world-renowned artists to the Westcountry for a diverse selection of parties over the coming months.

Spanning the full spectrum of electronic music, fans can expect mind-blowing sets from the likes of Floating Points, Skream and Sub Focus among others, as well as a raft of fast-rising homegrown artists.

Tickets for Motion's early 2022 season are on sale now and can be found here.

Consistently voted among the world's best club venues in annual DJ Mag polls, Motion has been a major hub for electronic music in Bristol for more than a decade.

Having been forced to close their doors for a large portion of the Covid-19 pandemic, the team returned to action last summer with an outdoor series before reopening at full capacity weeks later.

The Avon Street complex will come to life once again in 2022, hosting some of the world's most in-demand DJs and producers, alongside a selection of celebrated local labels and promoters.

The new season gets underway on Friday 21 January as Boiler Room return to the Westcountry for an eagerly-awaited collaboration with Possession, before Dad Bod Boogie take the reigns on Saturday 29 for a night topped by renowned party-starter Dan Shake.

From there, Floating Points will be joined by Pearson Sound, Helena Star, Manami and more on Saturday 5 February, before Drumcode boss Adam Beyer tops another techno special on Saturday 19.

The latest in a series of Glitterbox Motion takeovers promises to be one of the venue's biggest nights of the year on Friday 25 February, with a full lineup being kept under wraps for now.

In March, Skream and Lala will both play open-to-close on Saturday 5, before a special Day & Night party hosted by the Camelphat duo on Saturday 19.

Alongside a stellar club series Motion will be hosting a range of esteemed live acts at its sister venue, The Marble Factory, over the coming months, including Kurupt FM, Nubiyan Twist and Sons of Kemet.

To browse the venue's full club and live listings, to secure your tickets for any of the events above, or to follow news and updates as more artists are announced, head to the Motion website or find the team on Twitter.
