Enjoy boundary-pushing burgers from the comfort of your own home.

Burger Theory is now available for delivery or collection from the BARBI App, a new platform developed by Bristol, for Bristol to support independents through takeaway orders.

Opened by a trio of experimental chefs in 2012, Burger Theory has carved out a stellar reputation for itself over a near-ten-year tenure, combining succulent patties with a broad range of unique sauces, toppings and combinations.

Alongside their flagship restaurant in central Bristol, the team also regularly set up pop-up kitchens at markets and events across Bristol and beyond, and can currently be found at BS1 bowling alley Lane7 as part of an extended residency.

Boasting an extensive range of monstrous burgers, sumptuous sides and a handful of veggie and vegan options to boot, Burger Theory absolutely stand out in a saturated Bristol burger market.

Their recently-unveiled Christmas menu features all their best-loved classics, alongside a few festive specials including the 'Christmas Quacker' and the decadent 'Cheese Board'.

Offering commission rates of just 15% per order - down from as much as 35% from leading delivery apps - BARBI are looking to safeguard the future of Bristol's hospitality industry with the BARBI App, ensuring independents keep a much larger share of their income.

The BARBI team hope that their new app will loosen the grip that major corporations like Uber and Deliveroo currently have on the industry, with a view to expand to table booking, event ticket sales, discounts and local news features in the future.

As well as reducing fees for businesses, the app is also offering improved wages and rates for delivery riders and drivers.

Amid the ongoing coronavirus crisis, support for independent businesses and the local economy is more important than ever. In an industry made up of more than 30,000 people and over 1,800 establishments in Bristol alone, support from within the community is vital.

To find out more about the BARBI App, to explore the restaurants available right now or to place an order, head to the BARBI website and find download links for both iOS and Android.
