Submit by 10 Dec and if successful we’ll provide a gift voucher for the recipient in time for Christmas! ????https://t.co/0n5ZM61TJi pic.twitter.com/oUWwOZHZAW
The charity, venue and music education hub encourage nominations of people, households, or places (e.g. a doctor's office or care home), for a bespoke performance in time for Christmas.
Anyone can be nominated, so long as they are Bristol-based. Though all applications will be considered, not all can be selected, so the venue is keen to hear your reasons for nominating, and how said nominee will benefit from a personalised performance.
Bristol Beacon's rough guide on who to nominate recommends key workers, volunteers, helpful neighbours, someone shielding from Covid-19, a caring on attentive friend or someone unable to work due to the pandemic.
The venue will respond to applications within 10 days, aiming to match nominees with performers they would most like to hear.
Closely affiliated musicians who work across the venue's school and community projects will deliver the gigs, either on the doorstep of the recipient, via video call, or by phone.
Get your nominations in before Friday 10 December via Bristol Beacon's website.
