Bristol music supergroup, Bristol Hi-Fi are heading to the Old Market Assembly in December

The collective; made up of Daddy G, Queen Bee and Mr Benn; are playing at the Bristol venue on Friday 3 December 2021.

 

Bristol Hi-Fi will be kicking off the Christmas party season with their eclectic DJ set of dubby basslines at the Old Market Assembly this December.

Made up of some of the city’s biggest bass pioneers, the collective aim to deliver a diverse night filled with the best music from genres such as: Hip Hop, Reggae, Disco, House, Afrobeat, Jungle, Funk, Soul, Dancehall and much more.

 

Daddy G, Grantley Marshall, is a founding member of two legendary Bristol groups; the sound system, The Wild Bunch, and trip-hop pioneers, Massive Attack. Revellers can expect to hear plenty of Dub-Reggae and Dancehall along with a smattering of well known tracks.

 

Queen Bee has been a vital of Bristol’s vibrant scene since the 1980s and is a staple at big festivals such as Glastonbury and Shambala. Her sets tend to feature House, D&B, Afro Beat, Funk and Reggae.

 

Completing the monumental lineup is Bristol-based producer and DJ, Mr Benn – a local legend of the DJ booth. Expect to hear his unmistakable blend of Reggae grooves and Hip-Hop at the Old Market Assembly in December.

 

Bristol Hi-Fi’s show on 3 December follows a successful night at Lost Horizon in September and will be hoping to transport their bass-driven energy to Old Market for their Xmas Bash.
