It's competition time musical fans!

 

The time has finally come - Bristol's biggest theatre venue is ready to reopen after almost 18 months of coronavirus-enforced closure, and to mark the occasion, we're giving away tickets to one of its most eagerly-anticipated musicals of the new season.

 

Showing at the Hippodrome from Tuesday 12 to Saturday 16 of October 2021, 9 to 5 The Musical sees Dolly Parton's 80s classic come to life on stage, boasting a spellbinding score from the Queen of Country herself.

 

We have two tickets up for grabs for an unmissable evening performance on Wednesday 13 October - read on to find out how you could be in with a chance of winning!

 

 

9 to 5 tells the story of three work friends and their plan to get their own back on their misogynistic and self-important boss in the hopes of creating a more equal and accepting workplace.

 

The show features a star-studded cast topped by acclaimed singer-songwriter Louise Redknapp, and comes to Bristol fresh from London's West End, having received rave reviews and wowed audiences throughout an extensive run.

 

Fans of Dolly Parton simply cannot afford to miss this one, complete with the singer's Oscar, Grammy and Tony Award-nominated back catalogue!

To get your hands on a pair of tickets to the performance on Wednesday 13 October at 19:30, all you need to do is visit our Contact page. Fill out the form with your full name and email address, and pop '9 to 5' in the 'Your Message' box.

 

Entries to the competition must be submitted by 14:00 on Friday 8 October, and we'll be announcing the winners shortly afterwards. Good luck! 

 

The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The tickets are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice. The winner will be notified by email within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 7 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. The winner understands that tickets allocated will require the use of stairs to access, The Bristol Hippodrome is a listed building and has no lift access.
