The Eden Sessions is returning this autumn

The Eden Sessions is returning this autumn

Posted on: 12 Aug 2021

The event, which hosts a series of live shows, will return for the first time in two years after the cancellation of 2020's edition.

After an uncertain period that saw the first version of 2021's festival - due to be held in May/June - called off, organisers were able to re-schedule the event for this September.

The Eden Project in Cornwall, where the sessions are hosted, hope to encourage punters to reduce their impact on the environment, with profits going to various educational initiatives run by the project.

Here's a rundown of who's playing and when:

Ben Howard I Saturday 11 September

Following the release of his fourth full-length studio album, which debuted at number one in the UK Albums Chart, Ben Howard will make his fourth appearance at The Eden Sessions this autumn.

McFly I Sunday 12 September

Since their breakthrough, McFly's seven UK number-one singles, six top-ten albums, six sell-out tours, four million tickets and ten million albums sold worldwide have cemented the band's status as pop icons.

Arena tickets for their visit to The Eden Project have sold out, but there are still a number of Sessions Plus tickets available. To get yours, click here.

Royal Blood I Tuesday 14 September

All three of Royal Blood's studio albums sailed straight to the top of the UK Albums Charts as the duo made their way to becoming one of the most vital rock bands around.

With The Mysterines in support, this one promises to be a raucous affair. Click here to grab yourself some tickets.

Snow Patrol I Thursday 16 September

Snow Patrol last performed at The Eden Sessions in 2006. Since then, the band has added numerous iconic tracks to their impressive back catalogue, earning them Grammy, BRIT, and Mercury Prize nominations along the way.

Arena tickets are sold out, but there are still Sessions Plus tickets available. Click here to get your hands on some before it's too late.

The Script I Friday 17 September

Irish trio The Script have marked themselves out as one of the greatest arena-filling bands of the 2010s, as their huge following of loyal acolytes would attest.

The band's sixth studio album, Sunsets & Full Moons, signified a return to form for the group, peaking at number one in the UK Albums Chart. Don't miss your chance to catch them live and in the flesh. Click here for tickets.

IDLES I Saturday 18 September

IDLES have spent the time since making it big with 2017's Brutalism fostering a community that transcends their music. Obviously, that's good too, but in creating something bigger than themselves, the Mercury Prize nominees have marked themselves out as one of the most compelling acts around.

Expect a loud and visceral performance and a sense of connection and togetherness with the band and other punters. Click here for tickets.
