Love Saves The Day reveal full 2021 lineup

Posted on: 02 Aug 2021

Catch some of the UK's most in-demand artists as the festival makes its debut on The Downs.

Love Saves The Day organisers Team Love have revealed a full lineup for the 2021 edition of their much-loved annual festival, rescheduled from May to September due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Having earned a stellar reputation over the years with consistently top-notch events at Eastville Park, Love Saves The Day will be taking over The Downs for the very first - and only - time this year, setting up shop in BS8 over two full days.

Alongside big-name headliners Mahalia, Slowthai and Little Simz, attendees can expect a stellar soundtrack courtesy of another heady combination of revered artists from across Bristol and beyond.

Forced to postpone in 2020 and reschedule twice more due to varying levels of COVID-19 restrictions, Team Love are expected to put together one of their most ambitious events to date as Love Saves The Day makes its eagerly-anticipated return.

Among a slew of internationally-renowned acts is an impressive lineup of Bristol-based artists, spanning an array of electronic and underground genres.

Attendees on the first day (Saturday 4 September) can enjoy live sets from the likes of Elder Island, Emz and Jay0117, while Shanti Celeste takes part in what promises to be a 2021 festival highlight alongside Ben UFO on Centre Stage.

Fans will also be treated to two major back-to-back sets from four highly-regarded local DJs in Hodge, Danielle, Ellie Stokes and Manami.

The following day (Sunday 5 September) will see a huge Main Stage showcase from UK rap frontrunners Slowthai, Ghetts and Pa Salieu ahead of a huge RUN Centre Stage takeover featuring Hybrid Minds, Skeptical and Critical Impact among others.

Speaking on last week's lineup announcement, festival co-founder and DJ Dave Harvey said: “It feels pretty surreal to be gearing up to finally get back in a field after the crippling uncertainty of the last 18 months.

“We are beyond excited to get back to what we love doing best with a really exciting line up, focussed on the wealth of amazing UK talent (for obvious reasons), with a heavy Bristol focus this year, which is something we only want to develop further.

“The line-up really shows the wealth of talent the country’s got to offer right now.”

At the time of writing, tickets for Love Saves The Day 2021 have officially sold out, but fans can buy or sell tickets here as part of a registered resale platform to minimise risk of scams.
