Two further 80Trees events in Bristol organised following high demand

Posted on: 29 Jul 2021

After joining forces and announcing a pair of replacement gigs for their respective cancelled summer festivals, 2000Trees and ArcTanGent have announced two further events to take place later this year.

The original two events, scheduled to take place on Saturday 31 July and Sunday 1 August, sold out in minutes. Encouraged by popular demand, a further pair of gigs on Saturday 27 November and Friday 31 December have been arranged.

In a statement, organisers said: "That's right, 2 days & nights of ACTUAL. LIVE. GIGS showcasing some of the best bands from Trees and ATG past, present and future."

The collaborative event, dubbed 80Trees, will take place across two stages at The Exchange.

Organisers added: "We’ve been wracking our brains about what we can do this year, and we’re pleased to announce that, with lockdown restrictions easing next week, and with the help of our favourite venue The Exchange in Bristol, we’ll be bringing you the very first 2000trees vs ATG event!

"As you know we’re all super gutted that both 2000trees and our sister festival, ArcTanGent, can't go ahead this summer.

"Last year we couldn't all meet face to face so we put on our very first virtual festival - 3 days of awesome music recorded in lockdown by some of our favourite bands.

"But can watching bands on your laptop or phone really keep you going??? Na us neither!"

Only tickets for the gig on Friday 31 December remain, so act quickly. Get them here. Be sure to follow the event in case any extra tickets are made available.
